TAK, TAKK, TACK for HAVET
(Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for the sea)
Is a project where the Scandinavian music/performance-collective Sekten works with the sea as a theme; both in a compositional, poetic and tangible sense
The first performance - December 3rd 2023 - is a collaboration between Sekten, and The Naturum visitor center on the southern Koster Island. Through enlightening conversations with ecologists and marine-bioligists at Naturum, Sekten has gathered informative material, constituting the foundation and inspiration for the creating proces. The sea with both its natural habitants and the submerged non-natural non-living objects, permeating the thematics of the performance.
The project is supported by The Danish Arts Council and The Swedish Arts Council.
